The Sheboygan County Job Center offers numerous workshops designed to help job seekers gain valuable workplace skills. Workshop topics range from resumes writing tips to interviewing techniques.

Education & Training


Apprenticeship is training that combines structured on the job training with related instruction and is sponsored by employers, employer associations, or labor groups that have the ability to hire and train in a working environment.

Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)

Certified workers who lose their job as a result of increased imports or shifts in production out of the United States may be eligible to receive one or more program benefits depending on what is needed to return them to employment. Services include reemployment assistance, job search and relocation allowances and training benefits.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

The WIOA program is a federally funded program that helps individuals with a variety of employment related services. These services include reemployment assistance, job search, resume writing, career assessments, career consultation, and federal short term and long term training funds when available.
